Alert DragonTea is currently recruiting new staff!

 

We’re currently looking for new members to join our team and become a part of the amazing hard work we do to release asian series to a wider audience for enjoyment. 

What we’re looking for is dedicated and experienced people. With the current wide array of titles we have at this time we’re unable to train any new staff. We all put in so much work and dedication to release the amount of titles we do and want to find like minded passionate new members who will stay and work hard to help us keep releasing content. Due note tests will be given when applying, however only on some positions can previous work be submitted- in the case where we’re unable to verify that the previous work is done by an applicant or the work provided is insufficient to show detailed examples of the position applied for you may be asked to still take a test.

 

Novel positions available
Translator (CN, JP, KR)

-Translate raw text to english

MTL Translator

-Can use the aid of MTL to translate, however will be listed with an MTL tag for readers.

Editor

-Responsible for checking over the translated content  and correcting grammar, inconsistencies and any issues to make the translated content into a more detailed/easier to understand manner.

MTL Editor

-Above as Editor but hard mode activated 

 

Comic Positions available

Translator (CN high demand, JP, KR)

-No MTL, fluent, will be tested but you can provide experience of previous work

Editor

-Responsible for checking over the translated content  and correcting grammar, inconsistencies and any issues to make the translated content into a more detailed/easier to understand manner

Cleaner/Redrawer (High demand)

-Download and stitch raw images; using PS or other photo editing software clean test bubbles, free standing text and sfx; redraw any images that had text or sfx covering images (cleaner/redrawer is a package deal)

Typesetter

-Will need to typeset the translated text and sfx to the images, will need to use suitable fonts for different types of bubbles and sfx, needs to have a good understanding of kerning, shaping and fonts, can provide examples of previous work
