The Bad Man System Collapse - Chapter 83.1
“Father Wu.” Lu Ze said without a moment’s hesitation, “Wu Hai is now at the critical moment of reviewing in the third year of senior high, it won’t be long until the college entrance examination. Once his health is well again, please let him come back to school as soon as possible.”
Father Wu: Heh, this guy is playing dumb!
“Father Wu, Wu Hai’s grades are already poor, and the lack of family education has led to a paranoid and manic personality. As his class teacher, I reasonably suspect that he has mental problems, so please contact a psychiatrist for a diagnosis.”
“Teacher Lu, as a man you should know where the bottom line is. In the future, if the people behind you fall, you will get retribution.”
“It just so happens that I know some peculiar calculations.” Lu Ze laughed. “Father Wu, you’ve been very busy with your finances recently. Be careful in case of bankruptcy.”
Du du du!
The call was cut off.
The cheeks on Father Wu’s old face were shaking with anger.
This damn psycho!
We can’t continue at this school!
Father Wu immediately prepared to withdraw from the school but too was rejected.
Their withdrawal from the school wasn’t approved.
He went to the school, but the school couldn’t solve it. He went to the Education Bureau, but the Education Bureau also rejected it. He went to his old friends; his old friends couldn’t help.
Just a small problem of dropping out of school forced Father Wu to use so many contacts but all of the connections were useless.
This time, Father Wu finally realized that their Wu family had messed with the wrong person.
Father Wu thought about it all night, then immediately asked his servant to bring Wu Hai back from the hospital, put him in his school uniform, shaved off his slimy hair, and sent him back to school.
His son was important, but his family business was even more important.
He has raised his son for 18 years, but the family business was built by their three generations after working hard for decades!
The same situation happened to the other three families.
So, on a snowy Wednesday morning, Wu Hai, Cheng Sheng, Zhao Gang, and Wang Le walked into the classroom with a head topped with snow.
Lu Ze sat at the door, saw Wu Hai, and asked, “Where’s the self-review?”
“I didn’t write it, so what are you going to do?” Wu Hai raised his middle finger at Lu Ze. “Come if you have the ability to, kill me ah! Lu Ze, this master is telling you now, the boss here is surnamed Wu! If you piss me off, I’ll hire an assassin to kill you!”
Lu Ze pursed his lips, then he couldn’t hold back but chuckle twice in a low voice. “It seems that during the recuperation period, you’ve been watching a lot of movies.”
Wu Hai never expected Lu Ze to react this way.
It was as if he was just downplaying him as childish, immature, full of ignorant fantasies of a fool.
No, isn’t what he wants!
What he wanted was an equal dialogue, an evenly matched confrontation, even if he has to fight for his life!
However, Lu Ze didn’t consider him equal at all. Lu Ze just continued lightly, “Since you didn’t write it, forget it, next time then. Go in.”
Like a tolerant elder, a kind teacher!
This understatement made Wu Hai very uncomfortable, making him feel as if his old school bully self was nothing but a joke, that he was now insignificant and no one cared.
Wu Hai gritted his teeth and wanted to curse, but what to curse?
The other didn’t do anything.
While stifled, Wu Hai aggressively led the way into the classroom, thumping the surrounding desks and chairs before getting to his seat and sitting down.
Lu Ze went to the podium and knocked on the table to calm everyone down while his cold eyes swept the faces below. “Class 3, the most unique class in the whole school, ranking third amongst the third years. Take a look up at class 1 and class 2, these two classes are the capable who have passed the formal senior high school entrance examination and are the strongest in each academic year’s examination. And then there’s our Class 3, where a portion is also strong in such a struggle, one battle after another. Meanwhile, the other portion are the people who came through the back door and paid to come here.”
Lu Ze continued, “In this unique class, there is a clear line of hierarchy. The richest and most powerful Zhao Moyi formed his own faction; the next best Wu Hai, Cheng Sheng, Zhao Gang, Wang Le who had chuuni syndromes, became the bullies; then finally, the rest were the civilians.”
“What end is there to civilians who aren’t capable of fighting, not even capable of clinging to the strong fighting on the battlefield? You have become the weakest in this small society. You have experienced sadness, despair, resentment, before finally being torn apart and reduced to accomplices.”
“Teacher, don’t say that.” Jiang Tao stood up. “They didn’t want to.”
As the “garbage man,” he had encountered the most violence, so he could best understand this state of mind, but it was precisely because of his understanding that he was unwilling to condemn them.
Because, if the positions had been reversed, he would have done the same.
No one could firmly say that, in an environment that could destroy you, you wouldn’t defend yourself. It would be a flawed request to ask people who couldn’t even protect themselves to be heroes.
Lu Ze paused and said, “I am not condemning you, nor am I asking you to be a person who is so noble and selfless as to give everything for the sake of others. I know that some of your parents are farmers, and their annual income is only 1,000 yuan. Some of them are single parents. A one-armed mother, picking up garbage in garbage dumps, living in shabby housing where garbage bins are concentrated. While some parents are the most common base-level office workers, struggling for thousands every month. You feel that you have no capital to resist.
In this class, you see extravagance, luxury, indulgence, and bullying. You resent why you were born so humble, and why some people were born with so much wealth that you may never be able to create in your lifetime.”
“Then what can we do?” Another boy wearing glasses and ordinary clothes stood up. “Teacher, what can we do? Even if we pass the college entrance exams well, how can we get into Peking or Tsinghua University? They get everything at birth.”
“So? What are you going to do? Resign yourself to your fate?”
Lu Ze asked.
The boy bit his lip in a death bite.
Wu Hai laughed. “Teacher, are you giving these worms a pep talk? Unfortunately, they won’t appreciate it.”
“On the contrary. I want to tell you the truth.” Lu Ze’s eyes suddenly become sharp, “The reality is that your parents are the bottom of society, and they are abandoned and sacrificed under the rapid development of industrialization and capitalization of society. Most of you can’t compare with what Wu Hai’s father has now, even if you work hard all your life.”
Jiang Tao refused to accept it and his face was flushed. “I refuse to accept my fate!”
“You must resign yourself to your fate.” Lu Ze turned around and wrote the character ‘fate‘ on the wall. “You must resign yourself to your fate in order to make a choice.”
Lu Ze looked at Jiang Tao. “Recognize the reality, admit the reality, accept the reality, and accept the fate that your parents brought you, so that you wouldn’t be impatient, wouldn’t suffer, and calmly choose your future. Perhaps many people tell you to work hard to succeed, but I want to tell you that choice is far more important than effort. And peace of mind is what allows you to make better choices!”
“Choose what suits you, choose to study, choose to work, make your appropriate choice at every turn at the crossroads. Every choice you make now is changing your future.” Lu Ze said, “I can’t promise you success but I also can’t stop you from shining, it’s all left up to your own choice. I’m just telling you, it’s your life now.”
“In conclusion, after all this nonsense.” Lu Ze smiled. “Back to my original point. Like so, Class 3 of Senior 3, the most unique class in the whole school, formed a small society in which there was some trash.”
Zhao Moyi suddenly looked up. “Teacher!”
He was afraid, he was afraid that Lu Ze would once again bring out that theory of trash and people.
He wasn’t trash!
Lu Ze calmly said, “Don’t let the trash influence your choice, don’t let the misery of society become your misery.”
“In the end, I am your teacher, and I will be your teacher my entire life. I will do my best to help you make the best choice.”
Ding ding ding!
When the bell rang, Lu Ze said, “Take a 10-minute break and get ready for your first class. Your first class today is Chinese language.”
There was silence in the classroom.
Suddenly, Wu Hai stood up and pointed to the podium where there was no one in sight for the moment and asked, “What was he talking about for that long?”
Cheng Sheng scratched his head. “It seems, he was calling us trash.”
“Damn it! Lu Ze is the trash!”
Wu Hai exclaimed. He kicked Jiang Tao’s table leg and threw him a red bill. “Go, go to the kiosk and buy some food for the brothers!”
Jiang Tao, who was still dazed, looked at the red bill on the table, struggled with his eyes gleaming, then threw the money back.
Jiang Tao pressed his lips. “Keep your voice down. Just now the teacher meant that he will be our support for the entire rest of his life, and you are all trash.”
“What did you say?!” Wu Hai’s temper flared and he grabbed Jiang Tao by the collar.
“Enough!” Zhao Moyi rebuked, “Class will start soon, the first class is Chinese.”
The reason why Teacher Lu added the sentence that the first class was Chinese, was because he anticipated what would happen later, right?
Indeed, his calculations were too well thought out.
Soon, all the teachers for the class noticed a change in the learning atmosphere of class 3.
In the past, the atmosphere was depressing and lifeless, but now it was full of fighting spirit.
The teachers of all the subjects were stunned. What happened?!
Students of class 3 of senior 3, except for those who entered through the back door, were all talented people with excellent IQ. Now, they truly abandoned all external factors and started to study, so their achievements made rapid progress.
For a while, the teachers of class 1 and class 2 felt a sense of crisis, and the mandatory extra classes and rush lessons continued to increase.
Lu Ze occasionally gave extra lessons for students, but they were all voluntary and they could come and go freely.
Over the weekend, Lu Ze received a phone call, in which the Lu’s daughter, Lu Xiuyu, cried very miserably, “Teacher, I’m pregnant. I’m afraid to go home right now, what should I do?”
(TNote: Short explanation. Lu Ze surname is Lu [陆], while Lu Xiuyu is surnamed Lu [卢], so they sound the same but it’s different characters, and they aren’t related.)
“I… I… I don’t know!” Lu Xiuyu continued to cry. “Teacher, what should I do? My parents will kill me if they find out!”
“Where are you now?”
“I’m in X Hospital.”
